Line Cure TM

Power Line Filters / Noise Suppressors

The Love Controls Line Cure™ power line filter, noise suppressor provides protection for today’s sensitive electronic equipment. Electronic noise can upset computers, PLCs and other types of solid state equipment. The Line Cure™ provides continuous protection for all types of electronic equipment from interference from noise and spikes on the power line.

The Line Cure™ offers protection that far exceeds that offered by MOVs, L-C filters, avalanche diodes, zeners, or gas discharge tubes. Most of these other types of filters only trap spikes or noise after the interference has reached a value greater than the power line. The Line Cure™ provides continuous protection by placing a "guard band" around the power line. This guard band traps spikes and noise, and limits excursions of the power line to less than 10 Volts peak to peak from the value of the line at that point in time (see illustrations on next page).

All units have over temperature protection. The LCA and LCL Series will remove power from the output(s) on an over temperature condition. The LCB Series will remove the secondary protection circuit, but retain power to the outputs. Both the LCA and LCB Series have LED indicators to show that the filter protection circuits are working properly. If the unit overheats or filter circuits fail, the LED indicators will turn off.

With current ratings of 1 to 30 Amps at 150 or 300 VAC for panel mounted types and ratings of 2.5 to 15 Amps at 120 VAC for line cord types, there is a Line Cure™ to fit your requirements.

How the Line Cure TM Works

"Ideal" (clean) AC Waveform
2 identical spikes occurring at different times on the sine wave
Breakdown level of conventional surge suppressors
The Line Cure™ guard band traps all spikes no matter where they occur
